A hydrostatic level sensor is a submersible pressure transmitter that has a pressure diaphragm where the inner side of the diaphragm is vented to atmospheric pressure through a vent tube in the cable and the outer side is in contact with the liquid and measuring the static pressure of the liquid column.
∎Features
Hydrostatic level measurement involves determining the height of a liquid using the hydrostatic pressure exerted by the liquid on its surface.
The higher the liquid level, the higher the measured pressure applied to the membrane.
There are two different methods of measuring hydrostatic level.
